These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“Client,” “you,” or “your”) and Clear Bridge Language Solutions LLC (“Clear Bridge,” “Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).

By accessing our website, uploading documents, placing an order, or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree, you must not use our services.

1. Services Provided

Clear Bridge provides document translation and related language services, including certified translations.

We do not provide legal advice, immigration advice, tax advice, or medical advice.

Translations reflect the content of the source documents as submitted. We do not verify the authenticity, legality, or accuracy of source documents.

2. Client Representations and Warranties

By submitting documents, you represent and warrant that:

  • You have lawful authority to submit the documents
  • The documents are authentic copies of originals
  • All information provided is accurate
  • You understand translations are based solely on submitted materials

You agree that Clear Bridge is not responsible for inaccuracies in the original document.

3. AI-Assisted Processing Consent

You acknowledge and agree that:

  • Clear Bridge may use secure AI-assisted translation tools to support processing efficiency
  • All final translations undergo human review
  • By using our services, you consent to this workflow

We implement reasonable safeguards to protect confidentiality during processing.

4. Certified Translation Disclaimer

Certified translations include a signed statement affirming completeness and accuracy to the best of our knowledge.

Certification does not:

  • Authenticate original documents
  • Guarantee acceptance by any government agency
  • Substitute for notarization unless explicitly requested

Acceptance of translations is at the sole discretion of the receiving authority.

5. Fees and Payment

  • Payment is required prior to delivery unless otherwise agreed
  • Prices are quoted per project
  • Rush services may incur additional fees

We reserve the right to suspend or refuse service for non-payment.

6. Revisions

Clients must notify us of alleged translation errors within 7 calendar days of delivery.

We will correct verified translation errors at no additional charge.

We are not obligated to revise translations due to:

  • Changes in source documents
  • Formatting preferences not specified initially
  • Stylistic preferences

7. Refund Policy

Because translation services are customized:

  • No refunds are issued once work has begun
  • Cancellations prior to project start may be refunded minus administrative fees
  • If a material translation error is verified and cannot be corrected, our sole remedy is a refund of the amount paid

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

Clear Bridge shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive, or special damages
  • Lost profits, lost opportunities, immigration delays, or legal consequences
  • Rejection of translated documents by any third party

Total liability for any claim shall not exceed:

The total amount paid for the specific service in dispute OR $500 USD, whichever is less.

This limitation applies regardless of legal theory (contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, etc.).

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Clear Bridge from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

  • Inaccurate or fraudulent source documents
  • Misuse of translations
  • False representations made by you
  • Violations of law related to submitted materials

10. Confidentiality

We handle documents according to our Privacy Policy and Data Security practices. However, no electronic system is completely secure.

11. Force Majeure

Clear Bridge shall not be liable for delays or failure to perform due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters
  • Internet outages
  • Cyberattacks
  • Government actions
  • Labor disruptions

12. Binding Arbitration Agreement

PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY.

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or our services shall be resolved exclusively through binding arbitration, rather than in court.

  • Arbitration shall be administered by a recognized arbitration organization in the United States.
  • Arbitration shall take place in the State of Ohio.
  • Each party shall bear its own legal fees unless otherwise required by law.

You waive your right to a jury trial.

13. Class Action Waiver

You agree that any dispute resolution proceedings shall be conducted on an individual basis only.

You waive any right to participate in:

  • Class actions
  • Collective actions
  • Representative actions

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

15. Electronic Agreement

By clicking “I Agree,” submitting documents, or placing an order, you acknowledge that:

  • You have read these Terms
  • You understand them
  • You agree to be legally bound

Electronic acceptance constitutes legally binding consent.

16. Severability

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

17. Modifications

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.
